Richard Trocino

Inventor, OHSO Travel Toothbrush

Richard Trocino is a computer scientist who graduated from Oregon State University in 1984. He is the inventor of the OHSO Travel Toothbrush (GoOHSO.com) and owner of Data Edge Austin (DataEdgeAustin.com), a developer of air transportation software. Believing Austin would become a world class technology center, Trocino move to Central Texas after college. He worked for Novell Development Products Division and authored several books and papers on database technology. He worked for the City of Austin as the head of software development for the Y2K conversion. After a brief stint with Computer Sciences Corporation, Trocino started Data Edge Austin and began developing web-based software for FedEx to manage various aspects of flight operations.
In 2005 he patented the OHSO Travel Toothbrush. Combining his knowledge of computer science and his fledgling new invention, Trocino started GoOHSO.com and began experimenting with viral marketing. Since then, OHSO has shipped products to over forty countries around the world and has been featured in countless magazines, news papers, blog sites, and television shows. When the US Postal Service produced it’s first ever infomercial, OHSO was one of the five companies featured. Thanks to innovative marketing techniques, OHSO has gained a tremendous amount of exposure with virtually no advertising budget.
Richard Trocino is currently working on new innovations to develop and market and hopes to expand his consumer product line and continue to find new markets for his cutting edge software.
